Who we are

What we collect
What you type into the form: your name, company, email, phone, the properties or sites you want tested (addresses, postcodes, counts, due dates, any spreadsheet you upload) and your notes. We also record how you found us: the page you used, the website or link that sent you (for example a Google search or one of our emails) and the campaign tags in that link (including Google’s ad click reference if you came from one of our Google ads). We don’t use this to identify you on other websites.
Why we use it
To reply to your request, prepare a schedule and a quote, and arrange the work if you go ahead. This is necessary to take steps you’ve asked for before a contract. We use the “how you found us” details to count which of our pages and emails bring in enquiries (our legitimate interest in running the business). If you ticked the optional box, we’ll also send occasional compliance reminders and offers; you can stop these at any time.
Who sees it
Only us. It’s stored in our website’s admin area and in our business email. The companies that host our website and deliver our email (including the form-to-email service that sends us website enquiries) hold it on our behalf. We never sell your details.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t become work: 24 months after our last contact, then deleted. If you become a customer, we keep job records for as long as we need them for certificates, guarantees and tax: 6 years after the job.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Email us and we’ll reply within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
